Kate Braden R ePRO ABR is the Principal Broker for Hawaii Real
Estate Online
Why Kate and Why HREO?
Who Am
I?
I was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee and lived there all my
life until, in 1969, I married a Hawaii boy when he was a student at
the University of Tennessee. We were in ROTC, and upon graduation
served all over the South and in Frankfurt, Germany. Upon his
honorable discharge, and me with babe in arms, we moved back to Hawaii
in 1972. I didn't know a soul and it was quite an adventure. We raised
two sons and made our home here. I can assure you there is no better
place on earth! After many years of working in dental healthcare; and
then, after returning to school and getting a BA from the University
of Hawaii, working in information technology, accounting, and
management systems I was privileged to develop and manage the largest
private grantmaking foundation in Hawaii. As the Foundation’s asset
base was developed from its Real Estate holdings, I became very
familiar with commercial property management, leasehold conversions,
tenant management and the management side of real estate.
I
worked with community groups from a small nonprofit parent
participation preschool in Kahuku to sitting on committees to
determine the future of Education for all of Hawaii, and in my own
right, have volunteered with over 25 community organizations. I
currently serve the community as an advisor to the Windward Unit of
the American Cancer Society, and as a member of the Kailua Chamber
of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Windward Oahu, Rotary District 5000
Foundation, the Organization of Women Leaders, the Honolulu Board of
Realtors, the National Board of Realtors, and the Hawaii Association
of Realtors. With 32 years of community involvement I am your Oahu
expert!
When I entered the field of Real Estate
Residential Sales, I had intended to develop training and technology
training for Realtors to enhance their businesses, as we are all
independent contractors hanging our license under a Broker’s
oversight, and all have much to learn in this rapidly changing
global economy. But I found
many Brokers were not interested in helping their Agents become
prifecient in technology.
I
have tried all the different types of real estate brokerage
models there are in Hawaii. I
have enjoyed my time with each company I have worked for and have
learned much from each broker I have worked under. However,
none could support me in meeting the client's need at a level I
sought.
I have the honor to have received my Broker
designation and have reached my dream – I have partnered with a
friend and fellow Realtor to start our own Virtual Real Estate
company, Hawaii Real Estate Online, LLC, a company designed to focus
on the Agents enabling them to provide top service to their clients.
Our primary intent is to provide our clients a
top-of-the-line, real time virtual real estate experience – from
first look to closing – using the most experienced and dedicated
Agents available. We
wish to do this by allowing agents to build their business and
personal brand by providing all the technology and tools, training
and support, while minimizing Agent costs, giving back to our
communities, and having FUN!
Our
knowledge of Oahu’s communities, the relocation and first time home
buying process, and our military community combined with our commitment
to excellence and the highest ethical standards attract clients who
want a company that is knowledgeable, experienced and truly cares about
them.
I
currently hold the designations of
Realtor®,
e-PRO Certified Internet Expert, and
ABR Accredited Buyer's
Representative. Our company is building the best team available,
with a cadre of experienced agents and other professionals to
help you skillfully complete your VIrtual transaction. Please give me a call and let me
match
you with the Agent that has the expertise you particularly
need.
